Our story
rvnare Mrkić began as a dream — a family plot in Kremna, a stack of timber, and the conviction that the mountains of western Serbia deserved a place to stay that felt genuinely alive. We raised the first cabin with our own hands. Then a second. Then a third and fourth, each shaped by what we learned from the guests who came before.
Over ten years we have welcomed families arriving with children who have since grown up and returned with partners of their own. We have shared fireside evenings with strangers who left as friends, and watched dogs bound across the snow-covered meadow with the kind of joy that is impossible to fake.
Pets are welcome here — and so is everything that comes with a real holiday: muddy boots by the door, kids playing in the yard, a long breakfast that drifts past noon. We are not a hotel. We are a family home, and we treat every guest accordingly.
